Liars is about Jace and Lenny, both about 16, who come from very different walks of life. Jace is pretty hard-edged, Lenny’s pretty country club. They couldn’t be more different, except for one secret they share: they each have a parent who’s a drunk. It’s one of my most sparsely written plays, and it really packs a wallop. Unfortunately, there’s a lot of Jaces and Lennys out there. This play is for them.
